Άρχισα να ζωγραφίζω όταν ζούσα στην χώρα της αγαπημένης μου ζωγράφου Φρίντα Κάλο, στο Μεξικό. Η σχέση μου με κάθε εικόνα που τα χέρια μου δημιουργούσαν αντλούσαν από την προσωπική μου ιστορία τα δικά μου σύμβολα και τα ενεργοποιούσαν, τα συνέδεαν με τη συνειδητή ζωή μου. Κατάλαβα με τον καιρό ότι η ζωγραφική ήταν για εμένα ένας τρόπος για να ησυχάσω τον νου μου και να συνδεθώ με τον αυθεντικό μου εαυτό.
